Entered my first National Convention in 1973 at Detroit, MI and won my first National Convention by winning Best Checkered Giant in 1975 at Milwaukee, WI. I’m the present President of the National Florida White club and also the current President of the Hoosier Florida White club. I won Best in Show at the 90th ARBA National Convention in Harrisburg, PA. I have organized for the past open rabbit BIS winners to meet at each National Convention to celebrate and have a group photo taken for the ARBA library beginning with the Portland OR. I served as General Show Superintendent for the 2017 Indianapolis, IN National Convention.
In my professional life, I have started up two separate businesses. The first being a tropical plant leasing and floral business specializing in large special events in the Indianapolis area. The second was an auto wholesale company in Indianapolis, IN where I purchased autos and sold them to dealers. Now retired I have the luxury to enjoy my hobby! I met my wife Beth 41 years ago at a rabbit show and we have three grown sons, one of which shares my passion for this hobby of ours. Now we have three wonderful grandsons. Over the past fifty years, I’ve enjoyed attending many National Conventions across the country that so many members have given up their time to provide for this great national event! I’m looking forward to working with this wonderful cast of Indiana members in providing the ARBA membership with another great convention. |
